The name AgriVuno is derived from mavuno (Swahili for harvest) and ukuVuno in Nguni languages. It reflects farmers reaping the rewards of their labour through access to markets. A community sub-brand, maVuno, was developed to represent WIAAP cohorts as a collective of farmers.
